Desk Pay / Access Invite SMS — Consent Evidence (A2P)

This public page documents how Spot Parking Inc. ("Spot Parking"), as brand of record and ISV for the Manage My Visit platform, collects consent for transactional Pay Invite and product-access link SMS sent on behalf of white-label parking operators when desk staff use Spot Admin. It is intended for Twilio A2P 10DLC and carrier reviewers.

Program summary

  • Who opts in: Guests at a parking operator's desk who want a text with an HTTPS pay or product-access link and a one-time code.
  • How they opt in: In-person verbal consent at the desk. There is no website end-user checkbox for this program.
  • Who sends the message: Authorized operator staff through Spot Admin after attesting that verbal consent was obtained.
  • Branding: SMS may show the operator's white-label display name; Spot Parking Inc. is the brand of record.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies; typically one transactional text per desk invite.

Verbal consent script (English)

Desk staff read the following script (or equivalent) before sending an invite text:

May we send a text message to the mobile number you provide with a secure link and one-time code so you can pay for parking or access your parking product on your phone? Agreeing is optional—you can still pay or receive access using other methods at the desk without receiving texts. If you agree, we typically send one message for this invite. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help.

Consent is voluntary. Guests may decline texts and still use other payment or access methods available at the desk.

Spot Admin staff attestation (login required)

Spot Admin is a staff-only application (not available to the public). Before Send on the Send Access / Pay Invite flow, the UI requires an unchecked-by-default attestation checkbox. Staff cannot send until they check the box. Spot Admin logs the staff user and a timestamp with each attestation.

Attestation checkbox label:

I confirm that I read the verbal consent script to the guest and the guest verbally agreed to receive one transactional text message with a pay or product-access link and one-time code.

Spot Admin staff attestation UI (login-gated product — public mock for A2P/TCR reviewers)

The live Spot Admin product requires staff login and is not publicly accessible. The mock below reflects the planned Send Access / Pay Invite modal: guest mobile number, operator display name, staff attestation after in-person verbal consent, and Send disabled until attestation is checked. Production screenshots may replace these mocks when available in public/ (a2p-pay-invite-consent-unchecked.png, a2p-pay-invite-consent-checked.png).

(A) Attestation unchecked by default — Send disabled

(B) Attestation checked — Send enabled

Privacy, terms, and opt-out

See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (and SMS Terms) for message types, data use, and that mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel.

Primary opt-in method

For this program, the primary opt-in is verbal at the desk, recorded by staff attestation in Spot Admin—not a public website checkbox.
